Wave and ORC give you the ability to strengthen your ACES/ECA certificates with hardware-generated and hardware-protected keys. When you choose the 'Wave TCG Enabled CSP' your Trusted Platform Module is used to generate your RSA key pair and protect your private key. When following the easy-to-use ORC/Wave procedure to request your new certificate, just choose the 'Wave TCG Enabled CSP' from the drop-down list entitled 'Select your hardware provider.' Your certificate will be created using keys generated and protected by your PC's TPM.   U.S. Government External Certificate Authority (ECA)   ORC ECA certificates enable individuals and business representatives to conduct secure electronic transactions primarily with the Department of Defense (DoD) at a medium assurance or medium hardware assurance level. For a list of available certificates and price listing, click here.     Access Certificates for Electronic Services (ACES)   ORC ACES certificates enable unaffiliated individuals, business representatives, as well as, Federal, State, and Local government representatives to conduct secure electronic transactions with the Federal Government (other then DoD) at a medium assurance or medium hardware assurance level.
